ONE PIECE CERAMIC CHICKEN WATERER

The standard farm store waterer is what drove me to find a better option and start From Scratch Stoneware. This waterer uses a traditional vacuum effect to keep from overflowing and automatically fill the bowl as the chickens drink. In order to prevent overflows, the reservoir is sealed (the lid is not removable). All filling and cleaning are done using the opening at the bottom of the reservoir.

The same practical features of the feeders also apply to the waterer:

Durable- Made from outdoor friendly stoneware clay. The body is 1/4” thick at minimum. 

Non-Porous- Is a safe, sealed sanitary surface that is easy to clean and will not leach nasties like galvanized zinc metal coatings, rubber, or plastic. Glaze is Lead free.

Tip Resistant- heavier and wider base prevents tip overs and is shaped to prevent roosting.

Clump Resistant- A domed base encourages the feed to fall easily as the flock empties the cups. Mash, Pellets or Crumble.

Low Waste- the cup design discourages spillage.
